Dinagat Island Power Supply Agreement “PSA” Contract Signing

SIGNING OF POWER SUPPLY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF DINAGAT ISLANDS AND SOLIND TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION, SUCCESSFUL!

PIO DINAGAT ISLANDS – The provincial government under the leadership of Governor Nilo P. Demerey, Jr., MPM, adopts innovation and industrialization of Fisheries, Agroforestry, Mining and Eco-tourism (12FAME) as a center of development, where one of the most Important economic drivers is POWER. With this, yesterday, October 25, 2025, the signing of Power Supply Agreement between the Provincial Government of Dinagat Islands and Solind Technology Corporation thru STC CEO Martine Navales, was successfully held at the Provincial Guest Center, Brgy. Cuarinta, San Jose, province. STC’s collaboration with PLGU-Dinagat Islands to venture renewable energy will help reduce reliance on fossil fuels and electricity costs, also promote clean, easily accessible and environmentally friendly energy sources, thereby helping reduce carbon footprints and CO2 Emissions that make global warming sulk. It was learned yesterday that about 85 million dollars was invested by Solind Technology Corporation here in Dinagat Islands for renewable energy, where this will be the example of the people of the Philippines and the whole country that it is possible to power Dinagat province through solar and wind. Solind Technology Corporation will be the first to build 1.5 Megawatts solar and wind energy facilities with 5-Megawatt Hour Batteries to support the electricity requirements of the province’s capital’s buildings, offices and other structures.

Gov. Demerey, Jr.; “We will not be relying anymore in fossil, but we will be making energy in Dinagat coming from wind and solar”.
